Information We Collect

Soshare collects your email address and display name when you sign in, and a profile picture if provided via Google or Apple sign-in. This information is used solely to identify you within the app and enable social features such as countdown subscriptions and group chat.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To display your name and avatar to other users in shared countdowns
• To send push notifications for event reminders, chat alerts, and joiner alerts
• To process subscription payments via Apple App Store or Google Play

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which is protected by Google's security infrastructure. Push notification tokens are stored to deliver timely alerts and are automatically removed if they become invalid.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your display name and avatar are visible to other users within countdowns you join or create. Subscription and payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google and is never transmitted to or stored by Soshare.

User-Generated Content

Messages sent in countdown chats are stored in Firebase and visible to all subscribers of that countdown. Countdown owners and chat admins may delete messages. Do not share sensitive personal information in public chats.

Subscriptions

Pro and Boost subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To manage or cancel a subscription, visit your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Data Retention

Chat history is retained for 30 days on the Free plan, 6 months on Pro, and 1 year on Boost. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Upon request, we will delete your profile, countdown data, and all associated chat messages within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Soshare is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Soshare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
